Board Member Participation Disclaimer
By expressing interest in joining the Board of Directors of Delhi-Norwich Minor Hockey, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Volunteer Role
Board positions are volunteer roles and are not compensated. Reimbursement for pre-approved expenses may be provided in accordance with board policies.

Fiduciary Duty
Board members are expected to act honestly, in good faith, and in the best interests of the organization at all times. Directors must uphold the organization’s bylaws, policies, and applicable provincial and federal laws.

Time Commitment
Board service requires a meaningful time commitment, including attendance at regular meetings, participation in committees, and involvement in events and decision-making processes.

Conflict of Interest
Board members must disclose any actual or perceived conflicts of interest and comply with the organization’s conflict of interest policy.

Code of Conduct
Board members are expected to model respectful, sportsmanlike, and professional behavior consistent with the values of minor hockey and the organization.

Confidentiality
Directors may have access to sensitive or confidential information and agree to maintain confidentiality in accordance with board policy.

Screening Requirements
Appointment may be conditional upon completion of required VSC screening procedures.
